Well-known and up-beat Safety and Security Specialist Lead, Joe Case, began his time at Pinnacle High School (PHS) a little over a year ago and always strives to connect with students, his peers and others.
Prior to working at PHS, Case heard great things about the school which kick-started his journey to join the staff. He also applied at PHS to get the same schedule as his children. A key member of the security team, Case also coaches the boys tennis team.
“Joe is a very gregarious, outgoing guy who loves his job, really cares about his kids, has a sweet ride and loves his wife,” English teacher Charlie Zeeb said. “I think he is a great coach and makes a positive impact on our campus.”
His bubbly personality captures many people’s attention as they walk past or even engage in conversation with him. Countless students feel his presence as welcoming, friendly and a humorous addition to the school.
“One time, I was brought down to the office for something, and he had backed me up, saying I would not do such a thing, and that I was a good kid,” Senior Ryan Chitwood said. “He sides for my character, and that is Joe for you.”
“He’s great with the kids. He is also a good guy,” said Security specialist, Jennifer Burley.
From many, he has a great attitude for the school along with influence. Even though he loves school, he enjoys much more in his job.
“Sports, all sports, I love watching football… hobbies, Im a tennis coach here at Pinnacle, so that gives me three months of after-school for pratice and tennis matches,” Case said. “I absolutely love them [PHS students]. Best job I ever had. What is great about this job is, I can go to bed and wake up in the morning and not be angry that I have to go to work.”
With Case’s caring, memorable personality and experience at PHS, people around him feel his energy and upbeat mood every day.
